摘要

本校醫務管理系依據教育部鼓勵國內大學與國外大學學術交流之政策，並因應全球化浪潮，配合國家長期發展，促進國際學術合作，以提升國家競爭力，本校開始立定以走向國際化為目標，於本校「研究發展中心」下設置「國際學術與產學合作組」為專責單位，致力於推展與協助校內各單位進行各項國際交流。本計畫之初步預期效果希望藉此與國際學術接軌，提升教師在專業領域之研究層次、增廣國際視野及整體教學研究品質；未來期能共同擬定與發表研究成果，進一步安排師生互訪與短期進修，以增進本系師生之國際觀。

 

本校醫務管理學系有鑑於澳洲的技職教育及其訓練制度的特色，有助於本校醫務管理系在未來的教育需求與發展，且為提升醫務管理系教師的國際視野與交流能力，並針對本國現有的醫療資訊管理、醫務管理、健康促進與長期照護規劃的相關研究進行交流，為延續2006年8月本系第一次遠赴澳洲昆士蘭科技大學(Queensland University of Technology-QUT)所獲得豐碩的成果，基於落實兩校長遠的建教合作關係，加強本系教師對於健康產業之瞭解、增進學術交流、提升本系對相關產業之興趣及協助教學，並持續本系一直努力執行的校外產業參訪與開展國際學術交流活動之理念，擬利用2008年9月至10月間選派教師赴澳洲昆士蘭科技大學、格理菲斯大學及雪梨大學之健康學院進行學術交流。

 

具體而言，本校醫務管理學系辦理此國際交流主要目的如下：

  1. 簽訂國際建教合作備忘錄。
  2. 進行教師課程研習與專業學術研討。
  3. 同研議國際產學實務發展與產學合作方式。
  4. 同研議師生短期專業教學訓練、短期留學計畫、短期機構見習計畫。
  5. 同研議本系師生取得澳洲醫務管理相關證照之作法。
  6. 拓本系教師國際視野。
  7. 升教師專業知能。
  8. 解澳洲醫療環境與體制。
  9. 習健康產業及慢性醫療照護之趨勢與發展。

本校醫務管理學系希冀透過此國際交流達成：

  1. 持續加強與昆士蘭科技大學的學術交流合作
  2. 與格理菲斯大學健康學群健康管理系建立課程研習與學術研討等合作機制，及進行系所課程發展、課程結構、教學目標與就業發展之交流
  3. 至雪梨大學透過實地見習觀摩，瞭解澳洲健康產業之發展現況。

為能逐步落實國際交流合作目標，本校醫務管理學系將與昆士蘭科技大學、格理菲斯大學共同研議師生短期專業教學訓練、國際產學實務發展、國際遠距教學，及取得澳洲醫務管理相關證照之作法。

Abstract

As the Ministry of Education encourages domestic university cooperation with overseas universities, Tzu Chi College of Technology (TCCN) makes great efforts to be internationalized in accordance with global trend, national long-run development, and promotion of national competition. Tzu Chi College of Technology has the ‘Research & Development Center’ to help every department in the college to establish relations with foreign academic institutions and expand the teachers’ international vision.

 

The features of technology, education and training curriculum in Australia are helpful for Tzu Chi’s requirement of education and development, as well as are suitable for teachers’ academic careers development. Therefore, the Department of Health Care Administration of TCCN plans to cooperate with Griffith University (GU) in many professional fields, such as medical information system, health service management, health promotion and long-term care management. Tzu Chi also hopes to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in order to build a collaborative mutual rapport. Griffith University (GU) is one of Australia's largest multidisciplinary and highest ranking universities, has great reputation and acknowledgement on researches. In November 2005, Griffith University (GU) cooperated with Pei-Jing University in assisting teachers training and academic research development.

 

In order for the continuity of the MOU rapport between Tzu Chi and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) signed in 2007 summer, Tzu Chi plans to have second stage plan for 2008 to reach the aims as the following:

  1. To have second phase of cooperative plan on faculty development, curriculum design, as well as academic research and partnership on international conference.
  2. To have further discussion and rapport on international cooperation between health institutes and academics.
  3. To plan for future short-term students exchange program, e-learning cooperative program, and program for students to get oversea licensing.

Over all, the goal of the second phase plan primarily to follow the continuity of MOU this year to enhance faculty members’ professional and international perspectives to build a better learning environment for students.
